Mifflin Perry Woodland Owner Association is hosting a tour of some permanent monitoring plots on JUNE 9!
Join presenters Dr. Duane Diefenbach – Leader and Adjunct Professor of Wildlife Ecology, U.S. Geological Survey PA Cooperative Fish & Wildlife Research Unit; Dr. Marc McDill – Forest Management, Penn State; and Danielle Begley-Miller, PhD Student, Wildlife and Fisheries, Penn State to hear first-hand about the Deer Forest Project.
The program will start promptly at 6:00 pm from a parking area near Reedsville, PA. Expect a 10 minute walk on an easy to moderately difficult trail. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for this short hike as the program will be rain or shine.
