The Deer Forest blog is celebrating a big milestone – 10 years! I can hardly believe it myself. I’ve been writing for the blog for half of my career with the Game Commission.
Duane has many publications, awards, and accolades but I think the blog was his best idea. The blog gave a public life to an unknown research project, connected us with people from across the country, and brought national coverage to the Deer-Forest study. I’ve found my passion and gained new friends. Who knew a silly blog about deer could do all that!
