His home range during the month of September 2013 (outlined in yellow) was less than a third of a square mile – 180 acres! And of those 180 acres he concentrates his activity in an even smaller area.
What are your odds of putting your game camera in his home range? He should be easy to find in October unless he does more jaunts like he did in the beginning of September! In the coming weeks we’ll share more info about how his behavior changes (or does it?).
