An army of hunters may enter the woods during deer season but before that recon is deployed. We are, of course, talking about those spy tools: game cameras.
Care to share some of that recon with us? We would love to get pictures of any of our ear-tagged or radio-collared deer. We see them when they’re caught and then when they die, but we rarely get a look at them in between.
If you do get a picture of a marked deer and send it with a location, I may be able to tell you when the deer was captured. Just email me the picture and information. Don’t worry, your secret hunting spot will be safe. We will only share the state forest where it is located and you can even remain anonymous if you’d like.
You can check out some photos of our collared deer here.
Here’s a little motivation for you. The following parade of bucks occurred on June 29th of this year (at a secret location!). Check out the timestamps.
The PGC just released a short video about the fawn project. Check it out and see some footage of what you have been reading about in the Deer Diaries!
